I have been making these healthy little treats for many years (I have photos of them dating back to 2010). I don’t remember how I first found the recipe, but I know for sure that I didn’t make these up, and that this gal did.
I have shared the Fudge Babies recipe with so many friends over the years, and I can’t believe it’s never made it to my current blog. But today is the day! I had made a goal earlier this month to post this recipe to the blog before the end of February, so yay! I also am including the Pecan Pie Babies recipe, so yay again! Both recipes are easy, delicious, kid-friendly, Paleo, gluten-free, vegan, and perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
You’ll see on the recipes that I’ve included the measurements of some ingredients by weight. I go with these measurements because I have a kitchen scale and because I’m a 1 on the Enneagram and it makes me happy to be exact. But you can just use measuring cups if you don’t care as much about precision. I think it would be hard to mess up the recipes as long as you come pretty close on the measurements.
Here’s a picture of the dough before you roll it into the cute little “babies,” and here is the recipe (2-in-1) to print: Fudge Babies and Pecan Pie Babies.
